Anniversary Album Reveal & Giveaway-Day 1

My parents' 50th wedding anniversary was on July 15th and we celebrated as a family this past Saturday with a lovely meal at their favourite restaurant.  After dinner we went back to their apartment for cake and my mother had some of her friends come in to join us.  And...it was finally time to present the anniversary album which Jen and I put together so many months ago!  They were very appreciative of the work we put into it.

This means that Jen and I can now reveal the album, which we'll be doing over the next three days.  In addition, as a thank you to everyone who followed along as we worked on the album, we are having a giveaway of the following prize pack which contains paper, cardstock, alphas, buttons, brads, chipboard, diecuts, stickers, flowers, floss and a variety of embellishments.  Basically, it's everything that was leftover from the album and we feel that we've looked at and worked with these products enough so we'd like to pass on the remainder to someone else who will appreciate them. :-)

As much as we appreciate everyone who took interest in this project of ours, unfortunately this time we will have to limit the giveaway to North America only, due to the rather large size of the package.  Sorry. :-(

In order to be eligible to win this great prize all you have to do is leave a comment on my blog as well as on Jen's blog for each of the three days of the reveal.  That's a total of six comments and your name will go into the draw.  Simple!

So without further ado, here is the title page of the album which Jen and I worked on together, as well as the first four layouts that I did, along with all the sketches that were used as inspiration.

Remember, in order to be eligible for the giveaway just leave me a comment here and then hop on over to Jen's blog to check out her reveals and leave her a comment too!  The draw will take place around July 26th.  Good luck!

Until next time...
Susan :-)

  2. Hi, Susan! These pages are awesome! I'm loving the soft-peach colour scheme. So pretty and perfect for heritage-type photos! I especially love what you did with the keyhole on your "It's your day" LO. I have one of those that I saved for my sister's wedding album, and then I didn't use it because I couldn't figure out what to do with it! I love the way it's "hanging"! I am so excited to see the rest of the album! Question: are the text boxes that I see full of journaling? Or are they quotations? Also - what a great idea for a giveaway! I have so much black and white paper left over from my sister's wedding album that I don't even want to look at anymore! LOL Maybe I should do the same thing!n Looking forward to tomorrow's post! :)
